The MULTIGRAIN cereal WITH BLUEBERRIES with goat milk for infants is suitable for infants six months and older, as a part of a well balanced diet which is not the sole source of nutrition in infants and small children.

The pleasant taste of the goat cereal is supported by the content of important nutrients – proteins, starch, fiber, minerals and vitamins. It is also very filling.

It contains all important nutrients besides the provitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin B12. Just like other foods of plant origin, wheat has a very low fat and calcium content, but it contains a lot of carbohydrates, mainly in form of starch polysaccharides – only a small percentage is in form of a monosaccharide. It is a rich source of plant proteins; from these, mainly the gluten portion is considered an allergen component in sensitive individuals. Wheat foods form a base of nutrition worldwide; they are recommended in the growth period, with sports, pregnancy, nursing, and recovery, because they are a great source of energy. They have – mainly whole grain – a gentle laxative effect because they speed up the peristalsis of intestines. This helps prevent diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, and carcinoma of the large intestine. The basic wheat nutrients are proteins, starch polysaccharides, fiber, magnesium, zinc and vitamin B6.

This is the first choice when introducing cereals to an infant’s menu. It represents a significant source of energy with excellent digestibility due to the linear structure of starch molecules. Other advantages are the almost nonexistent amount of fat and the complete absence of gluten.

Instant barley flour represents a nutritionally precious component with a high content of proteins, carbohydrates and minerals (important source of phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and zinc). It contains gluten proteins.

Rye is by its composition similar to wheat, however it has more proteins and fiber. It also contains many polysaccharides, wherefrom the largest part is starch. Rye flours are a good source of vitamins B1, B2, B6, E, niacin and folic acid. They contain a large amount of dissoluble cellulose fibers which help to soften stool.

Instant oat flour is characterized by its high nutrition value due to its natural content of beta-glucans, lecithin and vitamins of group B. Additionally, the high content of proteins, unsaturated fatty acids and minerals justifies including the oat flours in cereals after six months of age. The dissolvable and insoluble form of fiber of instant oat flour has a direct effect on the support of digestive processes. It also has a very good filling effect.

Blueberries are an excellent source of antioxidants, which are known to destroy the excess free radicals in a body. They contain tannins and large amounts of iron and manganese. Blueberries are a source of many important vitamins, e.g. vitamin C, E and beta-carotene. They have anti-inflammatory effects, improve vision and regulate the blood sugar levels. They are recommended in cases of diarrhea as a natural remedy for this condition.
